Stability Reliability Quality

History

Our company dates back to 1946 when with the recruitment of technical specialists of Kharkov turbo-generator plant the state enterprise KhaER was established to rebuild and upgrade the power-generating facilities on the territory of the former USSR destroyed during the Second World War.

The specialists of this plant introduced the high technical level into our enterprise which immediately made it possible to take the leading role among the similar enterprises of the former USSR. Over 60 companies and institutions were the customers of our enterprise. At certain times the enterprise employed up to 2750 persons including 420 engineers, 35 technicians, 1560 highly skilled workers.

Our enterprise continuously acquired the new expertise and knowledge.

The following stages may be highlighted in the history of development of KhaER:

  • 1946 – 1952 – working-out and mastering of methods of upgrading, reconstruction, rebuilding, repair of boilers with the capacity of up to 80 tons of steam per hour, turbines and generators of up to 25 MW;
  • 1953 – 1960 – working-out and mastering of methods of upgrading, reconstruction, rebuilding, repair of boilers with the capacity of up to 230 tons of steam per hour, turbines and generators of up to 50-100 MW;
  • 1961 – 1974 – working-out and mastering of methods of upgrading, reconstruction, rebuilding, repair of modular boilers of high and supercritical parameters with the capacity of up to 2700 tons of steam per hour, turbines and generators of up to 300, 500 and 800 MW;
  • 1975 – 1981 – working-out and mastering of methods of repair of turbines and generators of nuclear power units of up to 1000 MW;
  • 1981 – up till now – entering the international market of services provided to power-generating companies, working-out and mastering of methods of repair of transportable power-generating equipment in the mechanical workshop of the enterprise, mastering of mounting of the power equipment of up to 300 MW, development and manufacture of the special tools and rigging for performing repair works;
  • In 1994 our enterprise was one of the first enterprises to conduct privatization procedures among the state enterprises of Ukraine under authority of the ministry of power engineering.
  • 2003 – working-out of the hydraulic-and-power program. KhaER became a member of “Ukrhydroenergo” Association.
  • 2006 – the expansion of the sphere of services and sphere of activity in general: KHAER creates the enterprise with foreign investments «HEAT MASTERS KHAER» LTD with the purpose of provision of thermal and reductive thermal treatment services; holistic power complex «Shostka TPS» with the adjacent boiler houses and heating mains have been rented for 10 years.
  • 2007-2012 – development and expansion of the main strategical directions enterprise activity, expansion of the production:

– the project for construction of thermal power station 13,2MW in Tkibuli, Georgia that was fulfilled on a turnkey basis. The idea of building was to use the low grade remains of the Tkibuli coals after enrichment. To implement this the boiler with the grating BB (boiling bed) was projected in the equipment composition;

– entrance to the Vietnam market – the overhaul of the turbine К-100-90-7 TPS «Pha Lai»was fulfilled with the importation of rotors in Ukraine for repair and deflection high-pressure rotor correction at the premises of «Turboatom » plant and reblading was carried out at «Kharkovenergoremont» plant; the repair of the turbine К-300-170-1P was fulfilled with the purpose to eliminate the bearings vibration of turbo generator TPS «Uong Bi».

– production of complicated embedded parts was mastered for the construction of three blocks of 660MW at TPS «BAR» India. The delivery of more than 600t of embedded parts was fulfilled. New contract for production of the next batch of the embedded parts was concluded;

– expansion of the range maintenance equipment – new devices for the repair of the boiler and turbine equipment were developed, produced and delivered to the objects.
